Okay, so, I’ve been obsessed with Fendi lately. You know, their Zucca print is just iconic. I finally decided to treat myself to a mini Mon Tresor bag, the white one. The whole process was, let me tell you, quite the experience.
First, I started by looking at Fendi’s website, just to confirm the style and price, you know, window shopping online. I already know the price and style, but I just wanted to see it again. I’ve been thinking about this bag for weeks! I made some comparisons to make sure this was the bag I wanted, but they were all in vain, I looked and compared, and finally, I decided that I needed it in my life.
Then the real fun began. I called a few different Fendi boutiques. Spoke to a few sales associates, some were great, some…not so much. I wanted to find a store that had the bag in stock and, ideally, a sales associate I vibed with.
Finally, I found a store a couple of hours away that had it! I talked to this amazing sales associate, let’s call her Sarah, and she was so helpful. We chatted about the bag, the Zucca print, styling options, just everything. She really knew her stuff. So, I booked an appointment, grabbed my car keys and started my journey!
Driving to the store, I was so excited. I planned my outfit in my head, imagining how I’d style the bag. It was a bit of a drive, but totally worth it. I arrived and Sarah, she’s even nicer in person! She showed me the bag, I tried it on. Oh, and she offered me some water and we chatted some more.
The bag was perfect. Exactly as I’d imagined. The white Zucca, the leather, the drawstring closure, all the details, it’s perfect. After a little bit of contemplation, I decided to go for it. Sarah processed the payment, carefully packaged up my new baby, and I was on my way.
Getting home, I immediately unboxed it, again. I’ve been wearing it every day since. It goes with everything! Honestly, it was a bit of a splurge, but I have zero regrets. It’s such a classic piece, and the whole experience of finding it and buying it was actually really fun. Sometimes, it’s about the journey, you know?
