So, today I wanna share my little adventure with this bag – the RemakePRADA Small Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather BagSpecialty Stores, they call it. Original order, too. Yeah, I know.
First off, I got into this whole thing because, well, I saw this bag online and I thought, “That’s a sharp-looking bag.” I mean, who doesn’t like a nice bag, right? And Prada? That’s a name everyone knows. Founded in 1913 by Mario Prada, the iconic fashion house is known for its luxury products and cutting-edge designs. They say this one’s a “classic.” Simple, but nice. It’s got those handles, so you can carry it in your hand or on your arm, like those fancy folks do.
Now, I did some digging. This bag, it’s made of something called Saffiano leather. Now, I’m no leather expert, but from what I gather, Full-grain leather can be either chrome-tanned or vegetable-tanned. Saffiano is genuine leather that has been treated and embossed. And this Saffiano stuff, it’s tough. I guess it does not develop a patina over time. The thickness of leather varies depending on its intended use. Also, it’s got this “colour-block design” thing going on, which is kinda cool. And of course, it’s got that little Prada logo – an enamel triangle logo.
Getting my hands on it was a whole other story. I ordered it online, and let me tell you, the wait was killing me! But finally, it arrived. I ripped open that box like a kid on Christmas morning. And there it was, in all its glory. I gotta say, it looked even better in person.
I started using it right away. Took it to work, took it out on the town. I even took it grocery shopping, just because I could. I wanted to see if it was really as good as it looked. And you know what? It is. It’s got these two zip-fastening compartments, which are handy for keeping things organized. Plus, it’s got an adjustable handle wrap and an adjustable detachable shoulder strap, so you can wear it however you want.

- It says “Prada Milano” somewhere.
- It may also say “Made in Italy,” although some bags are now made in China, I guess.
The size is just right, too. It’s small, but not too small. You can fit all your essentials in there – phone, wallet, keys, you name it. I even managed to squeeze in a small book once.
After using it for a while, I can honestly say I’m impressed. This RemakePRADA bag, it’s the real deal. And you know what’s funny? I heard this Prada bag can be more money than LV bags. The LV is more expansive, like the leather jackets, passenger bags or something. Anyway, if you’re thinking about getting one, I say go for it. It’s a bit of a splurge, but hey, you only live once, right?
