Okay, let’s talk about this watch I’ve been messin’ with – the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope. Now, I ain’t no expert, but I’ve been playing around with this thing for a while, and I figured I’d share what I’ve found.

First off, I got my hands on this “Original order” package. When I say it was complete, it was complete! I opened the shipping box, then there was an outer sleeve, then another box inside of that! Then an inner box, and inside THAT was a whole bunch of stuff. We’re talkin’ instruction manual, hang tag, a card holder, a Pictogram card, and a warranty card (it wasn’t dated, but I think it was from April 2021). There was even a little strap tool, a loupe (that little magnifying glass thing), velcro and Nato straps, and a Speedmaster caseback weight. It was like Christmas morning for a watch nerd!

So, I started looking into this thing. These CopyOMEGA folks, they call it the “Speedmaster Chronoscope,” and apparently, it’s got some history. I’m not gonna lie, I had to do some digging to learn about the movement and all that.

Now, about the watch itself. I took a close look at the dial. It’s got those three little sub-dials, just like the classic Speedmaster Moonwatch. The one at 3 o’clock, that’s a thirty-minute scale. The one at 6 o’clock is a twelve-hour counter. And the last one, over at 9 o’clock, that is a running seconds, or just a normal clock second hand.

  • 3 o’clock: Thirty-minute scale
  • 6 o’clock: Twelve-hour counter
  • 9 o’clock: Running seconds

I wore it around for a few days. It’s comfortable, I’ll give it that. And yeah, it looks pretty sharp. I even got a couple of compliments on it. People seemed to think it was the real deal, which is kinda funny.

Is it worth it?

Look, this ain’t a cheap watch, even though it is not the real one. But from what I hear, it’s not as crazy expensive as some of those gold-plated things that cost more than a car. This one, it seems to do the job. It tells time, it looks good, and it’s got all those fancy little dials. If you’ve got the cash and you’re into watches, it might be worth checking out. If not, well, there are plenty of other watches out there. Maybe the price will go up, up, up, I don’t know. But I enjoy wearing it so much!

At the end of the day, I’m just a regular guy who likes to tinker with things. And this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope, it’s been a fun little project. That’s about all I have to say about that.
