Hey there, folks! Let’s dive right into my little adventure with this Yves Saint Laurent, or YSL, June Box Bag. I heard all the young folks were talkin’ about it, and well, I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. So, I decided to make one myself. Yep, you heard that right, a homemade YSL June Box Bag.
First off, I started searching for pictures. I looked at a whole bunch of ’em online. All shiny and pretty. But this June Box Bag, it just caught my eye. So I studied those pictures like it was my job. I looked for every detail I could find.
- I started by gathering my materials. Got some nice leather, not the fancy kind, but good enough.
- Then I got to work, cutting and stitching. It was tough, I tell ya. My fingers were sore for days!
- I focused a lot on that front flap thing and that fancy CASSANDRE closure. That was the hardest part, getting it to pivot just right.
I spent days working on this thing, trying to get it to look like those fancy bags online. I even made that little box shape, which wasn’t easy, let me tell you. The details were a real pain, but I kept at it. I wanted it to be just perfect.
The Result?
Well, it wasn’t perfect, not like those real YSL bags, but I was pretty darn proud of it. It looked like a June Box Bag, that’s for sure. And that CASSANDRE closure, it worked! It wasn’t too shabby, if I do say so myself. It’s a little rough around the edges, but hey, it’s got character! I showed it off to my friends, and they were pretty impressed. They kept asking if I bought it, and I just smiled and said, “Nope, made it myself!”
So there you have it, my little adventure in making a YSL June Box Bag. It was a fun project, and I learned a lot. Maybe I’ll try making another one someday, but for now, I’m just gonna enjoy using this one. It might not be the real deal, but it’s mine, and that’s what matters. If I can do it, anyone can do it. So dont be shy and try it.
