That Yves Saint Laurent, YSL, I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it. That YSL ENVELOPE BAG, they say it’s a classic. Well, I seen pictures, looks like one of them fancy letter holders, all right.
This bag, they call it the ENVELOPE, ’cause it’s kinda flat, kinda like when you get a letter from your cousin out in California. They got different sizes, I reckon. One ain’t big, about 9.4 inches, 6.6 inches, and 2.3 inches deep. That’s what I heard. They call it the “Medium” one. Strap’s long enough, ’bout 21.6 inches. Handle’s shorter, 10.2 inches or so.
This Remake Yves Saint Laurent thing, I don’t rightly know. Sounds like someone’s makin’ bags that look like the real ones. If you ain’t careful, you might get fooled, I reckon. But if it looks the same and costs less, maybe it ain’t so bad. As long as it holds your stuff, who cares, right?

This YSL ENVELOPE BAG, it’s just a bag, when you get right down to it. But folks sure do make a fuss over it. They say it’s a Classic Style. Means it’ll always be good lookin’, I guess. Like them old quilts your grandma used to make. Never go outta style.
I seen some of these bags, they got that big YSL on the front. Shiny, gold, or silver, maybe. Stands out, that’s for sure. Lets everyone know you got a fancy bag. If that’s what you’re into. Me, I just need somethin’ to carry my things. Don’t need no fancy letters on it.
But I guess if you got the money, and you want a Remake YSL ENVELOPE BAG, you go right ahead. Just make sure you ain’t gettin’ ripped off. Check for that number, like I said. And make sure it’s big enough to hold all your stuff.
They got other bags, too, this YSL fella. One they call “Le 5 to 7,” I don’t know what that means. Maybe it’s for goin’ out at night. They say it’s a “collectible,” whatever that means. Guess folks like to keep ’em, not just use ’em. This Le 5 to 7, some are rare. They made of special materials. This makes the bag worth more money. It’s like an “investment.”
